The New England Bach Festival is a four day biennial festival in Armidale, NSW, dedicated to the great J S Bach, his family, contemporaries and people he has influenced. The 10th New England Bach Festival - Bach, Family and Friends brings together visiting and local musicians in a festival of 10 events over four days. Events include: Sydney Consort - Farewell Concert - Bach and Sons - music for recorder, violin and harpsichord with Alana Blackburn, Stan and Monika Kornel David Drury - Channeling Bach - a brilliant improvising organist Thorough Bass - Bach Family and Friends - viola da gamba and clavier with Shaun Ng and Diana Weston The Peasant Cantata - a free dramatised performance EphenStephen guitar duo- Bach's Italian Concerto and more Armidale Organ Crawl - four organs, four organists and lots of Bach Austral Harmony – Bach and Florid Song Camerata Antica – The Mysterious Carlo G: exploring 17th century songbooks.
